Get ready Canberra – it’s time to welcome 2026 with a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. ✨🎉Pack a picnic or grab a bite to eat from the local food trucks at one of the four hubs at Rond Terrace, Wendouree Drive, John Dunmore Lang Place (Commonwealth Place), and at Ferry Gate (Regatta Point).
Local entertainment will be provided from 6pm at each of the hubs, while a synchronised soundtrack powered by Mix 106.3 will accompany the two fireworks displays as they launch from Central Basin at 9pm and midnight. 🎶🎇

Please note: due to construction and roadworks there will not be a hub at Regatta Point this year, and fireworks will not launch from Commonwealth Avenue Bridge.
