About this Event
Take a tipsy journey through the spirit trails and exclusive entry through barricades as we retrace the immigrant progress toward the American Dream during Prohibition. We'll begin the evening by visiting two historic bars and speakeasies with a complimentary drink at each. Along the way we will explore the catalysts behind prohibition, focus on the women of the Gilded Age and the movement that gave rise to an oil king. To round off our journey together we will guide you into one of New York's last-standing 1920s speakeasies and tell the tale of the period’s most notorious gangsters, infamous bootleggers and discuss the sudden demise of Prohibition. Here you will have an open bar from 7:300pm-12:00am and a view of the Times Square ball drop from 12 blocks away (where we end is an exclusive section that the general public is not allowed into).
