Do you make your plans for the New Year 2024 Eve Celebration?• Want to go and stay 5-6 hours outside at Times Square?
• want to make a reservation for a table at some fancy restaurant in Brooklyn or Manhattan? ( and drive back home after the party)
• fly some tropical islands ?️ and get drunk at the beach?
• fly to Colorado, Utah, or some European Ski resort for Christmas/ New Year and spend 3x more money than at any other time, just because it's a winter holiday and all Air Tickets, car rentals, and hotels at high demand prices?
Honestly, we already did ALL LISTED ABOVE for the previous New Year’s Celebrations in NY past 25 years and NOW want to do something DIFFERENT, but without breaking a bank account and with good company of friends TOGETHER to have maximum fun and a good time for the New Year 2024 Celebration.
WHAT IT COULD BE?
After detailed research of all the different opportunities AROUND NYC ( without flying out and paying high winter holiday prices for air tickets) we did ELIMINATE
1) The idea of renting a house in the Poconos ( close to Camelback or Lake Harmony /Jack Frost ski areas) - last year we were in the Poconos and the weather was not really a “Winter Fairytale” :(
We barely skied 3 days at a small mountain Jack Frost and did not get any “ festive atmosphere” around with NO FRESH SNOW.
2) Renting a condo/house in Vermont ( long 6-7 hrs drive and getting VERY EXPENSIVE lately) 3 bedroom condo for this holiday time will cost a minimum of $600-800/day. Plus we will be just back from our ski season-opening trip in NH.
3) Staying home in Brooklyn and just going to dinner out for a few hours also puts our expectations at a very “Depressive” level

So what we CAN OFFER as an ALTERNATIVE?
After Difficult COVID tomes when most Inside places were restricted for large groups of people we get some GOOD NEWS:
At Hunter Mountain Main Lodge
New Year's Eve IS BACK!
Guilty Pleasure Band will play live Music at the Main Bar at 3 pm, followed by the return of fireworks at 7 pm!
Also (From our previous experience back in 2019) the lodge will be NOT closed till 1 am and people just bring their own food, and champagne and occupy big tables at day the restaurant ( 2 floors) and enjoy New Year's Eve at Great atmosphere and with FREE ADMISSION!
??The bar was open all night, live music and dancing were fun and we all had a great time!

Another question: where to “Crash” after this fun party, torchlight parade, and Fireworks?
Answer: We found a PERFECT, fully renovated in July 2022 hotel, just 1 mile from Hunter Mountain ski area called “HUNTER LODGE- Blue Bird by Lark”
? They have a choice of different rooms and prices for Dec 31-Jan02 starting from $243 for a room with a king-size bed!
We already booked for our family a Deluxe King Patio...
