emo never sleeps is an accessible and accepting alternative club run by a team of emos.
we have over 10 years in alternative events and decided to never grow up and throw parties for a living. we reside at the iconic royal melbourne hotel right next to southern cross station, which is a 250 year old heritage listed jail. with 4 rooms, 5 bars, the biggest courtyard in melbourne and real life jail cells - why be anywhere else?
main room: big emo heaters (and free photobooth)
the cells: metal and bleghs (and cloakroom)
upstairs: party room (and couches)
front bar: acoustic
we're only a short stumble to the first train home and the ever regretful 4am hungry jacks. we have security that have worked in alternative and queer spaces and a team that care. we wanna keep you safe and help you find the community you've been looking for.
