Leela Paymai is an Iranian-American and San Francisco based bassist, trombonist, songwriter, and arranger. Her band, Miss Hits, has played throughout the Bay Area and is in the process of recording their debut album. In her solo work “Zheniia”, she blends her jazz training with the Persian classical music she heard growing up.
