We’re kicking off our NEW WAVE fall tour on National Grief Awareness Day in our hometown of L.A. Join us for a night of grief, joy, and everything in between at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Theater in Hollywood, featuring screenings of We’re Okay and New Wave, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

National Grief Awareness Day reminds us that grief and joy are often intertwined—and that making space for one can help us find the other.

, directed by Elizabeth Ai, premiered at Tribeca 2024, where it won the Albert Maysles Special Jury Award for Best New Documentary Director. Since then, the film has screened at over 30 festivals, earning additional accolades including Audience Award, Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature, and excellence in cross-cultural filmmaking.
