A community supported gala event aimed at raising donations and awareness for those without a home, or the housing insecure.

Raffles and a donation collection will help raise support for Second Wind Cottages; a non-profit organization helping house those in need.

Second Wind has an established community of cottages/shelters for men in Newfield.

Second Wind is currently trying to raise $60,000.00 for a new women's and children housing community.

Second Wind's mission is:

Provide housing, support, and encouragement to homeless and at-risk people in our community.

Mentor residents in life skills needed to reintegrate into society and where possible restored family life.

Build relationships between residents and the surrounding community as we learn to be good neighbors together.

Sustain relationships with residents who have moved on from Second Wind.

Representatives from Second Wind will be guest speaking, and available for questions and information.

Some items being raffled off for the event are:

A Seagull S6+ acoustic guitar donated by Ithaca Guitar Works, a second acoustic guitar signed by the performers and crew of the event, gift certificates courtesy of Home Green Home and Sunny Days, a cornucopia of band merch from the night's performers

This event will showcase New Vine Artists:

Metasequoia, Bob Robert’s Calamity, Leo & the Maydays and Vee Da Bee.

As well as performing locally, members of these acts are your cooks and servers, bartenders, dog groomers, sound engineers, carpenters, and retail workers who service the community’s needs.

Beer, cider and wine provided by South Hill Cider.

Champagne toast at Midnight (included in ticket cost).

A donut wall and snacks will also be available.

Covid-safe precautions will be set in place for this event (mandatory masks, vaccination requests, sanitary stations).
