About this Event

We know how tricky it can be to make friends in a new city, especially when you're navigating hostel life, starting a new job or settling into a new routine.

Whether you're looking for someone to tick off your Aussie bucket list with, a travel buddy, a potential housemate or simply a group of girls to explore Sydney with, this event is for you!

We also understand how daunting it can feel to attend an event alone, which is why we've made the evening as welcoming and relaxed as possible, with plenty of opportunities to meet new people.

What to Expect

Instagram Group Chat – We'll create an Instagram group chat 24 hours before the event so you can introduce yourself, break the ice or even arrange to arrive with someone beforehand.

Friendly Hosts – One of our lovely Working Holiday Girls hosts will welcome you on arrival, help with introductions and make sure everyone feels included throughout the evening.

Welcome Drink & Name Tags – Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles or soft drink on arrival, along with a name tag to make remembering everyone's names a little easier!

Friendmaking Activities – Starting at 6:30pm, we'll have some fun, relaxed activities designed to get everyone chatting and help you meet girls you click with.

Reserved Area – We'll have our own space at the venue, so you can feel comfortable knowing everyone is there for the same reason: to make new friends!

Friendmaking Activities: Starting at 6:30pm, so please arrive beforehand!

Finish: Approximately 8:30pm

- No refunds however you can sell or transfer your ticket to someone else

- Photos will be taken at the event for promotion purposes. If you would not like to be in the pictures, please let one of the volunteers know on the evening.
