NEW: The Science of Human Connection
About this Event
On July 28th, we present : "The Science of Human Connection" by Dr. Mitch Abrams.
At a time when loneliness, burnout, and social division are reaching unprecedented levels, understanding how humans connect may be one of the most important scientific questions of our time.
In this thought-provoking talk, Dr. Mitchell Abrams explores emerging research on the relationship between the heart, brain, and human connection. Drawing on studies of compassion, emotional regulation, and physiological coherence, he examines how our emotional states influence both our own well-being and the people around us.
You'll discover how the heart and brain communicate, how relationships shape physical and mental health, and why connection may be a powerful - yet often overlooked - factor in healing, resilience, and flourishing.
Moving beyond theory, Dr. Abrams will also explore what this science means for healthcare, leadership, community building, and everyday life. The result is a compelling new perspective: that personal health, social well-being, and the health of our communities may be more interconnected than we realize.
Join us for an evening exploring one of the most fundamental questions in human life: what connects us to one another, and why does it matter so much?
