About this Event
On April 15th, we present : "The Science of Happiness" by Prof. Gillian Mandich, PhD
Happiness is more than a fleeting feeling - it’s a measurable capacity that shapes how we cope with stress, build meaningful relationships, and thrive in everyday life.
In this engaging lecture, Dr. Gillian Mandich will explore the scientific foundations of happiness and will touch on the evidence-based practices to navigate the common berriers to happiness.
Drawing on research from positive psychology, neuroscience, and behavioural science, she unpacks what scientists actually know about happiness: how it shapes the way we think, perform, and respond to stress.
Rather than treating happiness as a vague feeling, Prof. Mandich's research reveals it as a set of measurable processes that influence energy, focus, productivity, and even long-term health — often in ways that run counter to our everyday assumptions about what makes us feel good.
At a time when stress and burnout are at record highs, what does the research tell us about building and sustaining happiness in our daily lives?
