Ten years after the death of her husband, a woman preparing to remarry encounters a young boy who claims to be her husband returned. Jonathan Glazer’s Birth transforms the idea of a second life into something intimate and deeply unsettling, asking whether identity can survive the body—and what happens when the past arrives wearing new skin.

Newly restored in 4K, Birth was released on 4K UHD and Blu-ray by The Criterion Collection on January 27, 2026. This screening will be presented from the Criterion 4K release.
