Have you ever wanted to try roller derby? Now’s your chance!Phoenix Roller Derby is hosting a New Skater Intake, and we’re looking for our next wave of skaters. Whether you’ve never put on skates before or you’ve been cruising around for years, no experience is necessary. Our coaches and veteran skaters will teach you everything you need to know—from skating fundamentals to full-contact gameplay.
Roller derby is fast, empowering, and community-driven. You’ll build strength, confidence, and friendships while learning a sport that celebrates teamwork, strategy, and individuality.

Beginner-friendly training — we’ll teach you from the ground up

Skating skills, derby rules, and gameplay fundamentals
🌈 Who Can Join
Ages 18+
Open gender league — all genders welcome
Absolutely no experience required
All athletic backgrounds (or none at all!)
If you’ve been derby-curious, this is the perfect time to jump in. Come meet the league, try something new, and discover just how fun roller derby can be.
All you need is a willingness to learn and a little bit of grit. We’ll help with the rest.
