What started as three final shows across Aotearoa has become six, with fans across the
country refusing to let Goodnight Nurse hang up their studded belts just yet.
After selling out their first Christchurch show on the day tickets went on sale, Wellington and Auckland have now followed suit, with both shows officially sold out. Today, they announce two final shows, adding a second night at Auckland’s Powerstation on Thursday 12 November and Wellington’s San Fran on Sunday 22 November doubling the size of the tour.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Always and Never, the band are coming out of retirement one last time for The Always and Never (Again!) Tour - three final shows across New Zealand before they hang up their studded belts for good.
Released in 2006, their debut album, Always and Never, has remained a favourite among pop-punk fans over the years. That album was the beginning of a nine-year career for Goodnight Nurse. They played hundreds of shows throughout New Zealand and Australia, released two NZ Top 5 albums and scored five NZ Top 40 singles.
The Always and Never (Again!) Tour will be Goodnight Nurse’s final three shows in New Zealand. For real this time.
