ResoundingWell is expanding with this premier event at Empire Grange. Experience a journey with a variety of instruments, poetry and voice.
About this Event

In a nutshell: In these days of continuous worry, grief, fear and other individual and collective stressors, we desperately need ways to "detox" from stress and anxiety and calm our minds, bodies, hearts and spirits. Enjoy this hour of live sound healing musical instruments that will help you drop into deep relaxation and go on a meditative "journey" of the mind and spirit. The focus will be clearing or releasing tension and anxiety and calming the nervous system. An expansive collection of high quality instruments will be used, including a Monolini monochord, 32" Chiron Gong (the "wounded healer gong"), wind gong, crystal singing bowls, handmade Himalayan singing bowls, Ocean drum, Koshi element chimes, "heartbeat drum", Peruvian seed rattle, monsoon rainstick and more. We'll begin with a guided visualization to help you enter into the experience. Original poetry and voice will also be enfused in the session.

About Sound Journeys: Sound journeys bathe or massage our bodies, minds and spirits with healing sounds. This can help our noisy "monkey minds" get quiet as we shift to a Theta brainwave state from our usual Beta and Alpha states. This is where we relax deeply and experience peace and healing on a cellular level. Some people report physical, emotional, mental or spiritual shifts, such as pain relief, improved sleep, sense of clarity, calm, release of tension, feeling revitalized and much more.

What to expect: Come with your intention for wellness and an open mind and heart. Plan to be nurtured and sacred space held for your highest and best.

What is expected: All participants are expected to respect all others in attendance, assume positive intent and to come without the influence of drugs or alcohol. This is a community experience and we support one another with kindness and reverance of each other's experience.

It is possible that you'll be so relaxed that you fall asleep. It is usually not a problem, but if you know you are a snorer, please be prepared to prop your head up, lay on your side or use a chair.

Need to know: Please do not wear any perfumes or cologne to this event, as some may be allergic. Please arrive about 10 minutes before the start time so that you can prepare for the experience, and silence your phone upon entering. Understand that late arrivals will not be admitted once the sound journey has begun, out of respect for the group's experience. If the door is closed, please do not knock and disturb the session.

Be advised that the driveway is easy to miss. If you pass it, you'll immediately come to Impala Dr (just west of the building). Plenty of free parking is behind the building.

The only restroom is down a flight of stairs. This is an historic building.

Please bring: a thick yoga or camping mat, or comfy chaise cushions; a blanket and any pillows or anything else you may want to be comfortable laying down. Sitting upright is another option, so you are welcome to bring a zero gravity chair or other portable chair. I will have some eye masks and leg bolsters for support.

If you have any medical conditions that may be negatively impacted by sound or vibrations, please consult your health care professional before signing up. Contraindications include pregnancy (first trimester), sound-induced epilepsy, or mental health diagnoses that may be triggered by intense sounds. Let me know if you have recently had surgery or have metal in your body so that proper distance can be kept.

Open to adults and mature teens only.

Sorry, no refunds after 72 hours before the event begins. If you are not able to attend, you may gift your ticket to a friend to enjoy.

Any difficulties, reach out to Annmarie by text at 970-460-4070.

"While I have been writing poetry nearly my whole life, becoming a Sound Practitioner has been a calling that I never expected. It is such a delight for me to bring the power of sound vibrations to others and witness the profound impact it has."

What some people are saying:

"Annmarie does an astounding job at creating a beautiful and seamless vibrational meditation through her sound bath. The sound vibration allowed me to get into and stay in a deeper meditation than I could possibly do on my own without years of meditation practice. After her sound bath I felt renewed and relaxed in a way that I haven’t felt in months."--Andee

"It was the most relaxing experience of my life!! Annmarie's sound magic made me feel like I was transformed onto a beach with the waves rolling in and out and not a care in the world. You don't just hear the sounds, you feel it. So joyful! The experience fully immersed both my mind and my body..." --Jill

Sound bath was amazing- completely immersive experience creating a meditative healing. Annmarie is a gifted maestro bringing together nature sounds, vibration and affirmations allowing a treat for the soul." --John
