New Renaissance Singers is pleased to announce their 33rd annual Spring Choral Concert, “A River of Song” on Saturday, May 11th at 7pm at The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park Street.As always, NRS will be performing an eclectic mix of music from Weelkes, Mozart, Holst, Bruckner, and Burleigh, to music composed within the past few years. Contemporary highlights include As the Ship Went Down (Woodpigeon), Set Me As a Seal (Clausen), a beautiful arrangement of Like A River in My Soul, and Fly, a work composed by Arian Norman. Truly something for everyone!
The group is pleased to welcome Orono High School Concert Choir as their featured guests. OHS will present several pieces of their own, along with joining NRS for a few songs.
A suggested donation of $10 is gratefully accepted at the door.
Please remember that parking can be congested as UUSB is a downtown venue, there is plenty of parking on nearby streets, so please give yourself enough time! We look forward to seeing you and sharing our music with you!
