Pour Over – Slab Creations and hand-build your very own ceramic pour-over brewer that's as beautiful as it is functional.
Whether you're a coffee connoisseur, tea enthusiast, or simply love creating handmade pottery, this intermediate-level workshop is the perfect opportunity to expand your slab-building skills while crafting a timeless piece for your daily ritual. We recommend that participants have attended one of our Slab Creations workshops or have previous experience and a basic understanding of hand-building techniques to get the most out of this experience.

🌟 Workshop Highlights:
Session One – Slab Creation: During this hands-on, 3-hour workshop, you'll receive 1 kilo of premium pottery clay to design, shape, and assemble your own ceramic pour-over coffee or tea brewer from start to finish.
🖌️ Tools & Materials Included: Use professional pottery tools and materials to cut, sculpt, texture, and personalize your creation, making it uniquely yours.
🎨 Expert Instruction: Our professional instructor will guide you through each step of the slab-building process in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment, making this workshop suitable for all skill levels.
⏳ Drying & First Kiln Firing:
After the workshop, your pour-over will remain in our care for several weeks while it slowly dries before completing its first (bisque) kiln firing.
Session Two – Complimentary Glazing: Once your piece has been bisque fired, you'll return for a FREE glazing session, bookable during our public drop-in hours. Select your glaze colours and add the finishing touches before its final firing.
🔥 Final Kiln Firing: Your handmade pour-over brewer will be professionally glaze fired, creating a durable, food-safe piece that's ready to elevate your morning coffee or afternoon tea ritual.
