With the release of their new album, It Ain’t a Thing, New Potato Caboose combines their long history in the jam band scene with a focus on songcraft and groove. The roots of New Potato Caboose go back to the early days of the jam scene, sharing stages with Blues Traveler, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, The Band, and the Neville Brothers. They were the first band to play the iconic Wetlands venue in NYC and were featured in the Sundance documentary, Wetlands Preserved. By the early ‘90s, they played over 200 dates a year and received write-ups in Pollstar, Billboard, and Variety.
Currently, they perform at high-end venues like Baltimore Soundstage, The National, and The Hamilton, bringing their live act to a dedicated fan base.
Support from Rae and the Ragdolls - an eclectic band of rock and rollers who make magic in the studio and on stage. Writing and performing a blend of styles, they are not confined to any genre and have something for everyone to boogie down to. Hailing from the metro-Atlanta area, Rae and the Ragdolls have been on lineups with greats like Nick Perri and the Underground Thieves, The Velveteers, Starcrawler, Larkin Poe, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, Drive-By Truckers, and Mavis Staples. The band consists of Rae G. Biv, Willie Bennett Jr., Spencer Lingle, Olivia Towe, and Josh Newton.
