Welcome back to the next Newcomer/Novice workshop, this time we are working on Connection Points. Learn to connect with different hands, to your partners hands, arms, ribs, back, shoulders, etc. We will go over what a touch vs toned connection can acheive and how to use each differently. We will be using these techniques in our wcs basics and beyond. If you have a clear understand of our basic patterns (push, pass, tuck, whip), then this is the class for you. If you're well beyond the basics, this class is also for you. We can go beyond and explore how different connection points lead to different moves outside the basics and help us create shape, rotation, and movement.
******LOCATION NOTE*******
We are trying out a new venue. Robert and I have already test run with a routine practice there and it worked really well. The studio is located in Queen Anne, but don't freak out, there is a parking lot!! The space has a ton of mirrors, a good sound system, the owner is lovely and responsive in communication so I'm excited to host our class here.
Cost: Sliding Scale $10-20 (Venmo, cash, Zelle, check)
