Join us for the exciting return of Chicago-based fusion horn band, New Nostalgia. The band blends jazz, pop and rock flavors together to create music for your head and your heart. Led by saxophonist and composer/arranger Neil Carson, the band features a 5-horn section and powerhouse rhythm section, straddling genre lines with intricate arranging and improvisation, singable melodies, and unstoppable rock energy.Their 2019 debut album was hailed by Downbeat as “power-polychord instrumental rock at its finest,” and their second album is slated for release in April 2025. Featuring some of Chicago’s finest and most versatile musicians, New Nostalgia's rich, brassy, driving sound is a thing to behold, both live and on record.
Tickets for tonight are $25 each (plus $2 per ticket processing fee).
