Tonight is your penultimate in this series of NEW NOISE! showcases at Voodoo Daddy’s with the team* super-excited to headline Janani.fx (ஜனனி.fx), fronted by Eela Tamil creative and UEA graduate Janani A.

As a Tamil person with roots in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, born in Berlin and later living in Norwich and London, Janani’s sense of displacement forms an integral role in the music. Janani.fx’s powerful set incorporates experimental soundscapes with gritty vocals and Anna Wyeth’s ethereal flute. Simply put, it is one of the ways Janani communicates with her ancestors.
