New Music Showcase: A Special Fundraiser

Kyleigh Jester and Nicia Whitcomb are headed to Las Vegas in November to compete in the IKF Karaoke Cup World Finals! So please join us at as we rally behind them on their incredible journey to the IKF Karaoke World Cup Finals in Las Vegas this November! See below to learn more about Kyleigh and Nicia!!

Their story began right here in Columbus, where both singers earned their spots at the USKA Ohio State Championships on July 30. From there, Kyleigh wowed the judges and secured 3rd place, while Nicia powered through to finish in the Top 7. Both now proudly get to represent Team Ohio on the world stage.

This fundraiser will help Kyleigh and Nicia offset the travel costs of competing in Vegas and give them the chance to bring home a championship win for The Black Swan.

About Kyleigh:

Kyleigh, 24, is a full-time law student at Capital University Law School and is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. For as long as she can remember, she has been singing. From school talent shows to performing at random pianos inside of shopping malls, Kyleigh has always had her eyes set on the big stage. Alongside her studies, she serves as an assistant coach with the Capital University volleyball team and also coaches a 15U travel volleyball team at Buckeye Volleyball Club. When she’s not working at the Public Defender’s Office or buried in casebooks, you’ll most definitely find her at The Black Swan on Tuesdays and Saturdays for line dancing.

Kyleigh is beyond grateful for the love and support of her Black Swan family and is thrilled to represent both Team Ohio and The Black Swan at the IKF Karaoke World Cup Finals in Las Vegas. She’s made some of her closest friendships here and can’t wait to make the community proud by bringing home a win for Team Ohio!

About Nicia:

Nicia, 27, is a Harrisonburg, Virginia native living in Columbus, Ohio. During the week she works in sales, and on the weekends can be found working security at a burlesque club. She grew up around many musicians and has been performing since she was five years old. Her goal is to turn music into a full-time career. Nicia's often out singing at karaoke nights across Columbus, bringing her soulful voice and energetic stage presence wherever she goes.

Nicia is looking forward to representing the Black Swan at the IKF World Finals this November. She is incredibly impressed and proud of the people she's met at Black Swan and honored to be performing for them and with them.
