New Music for Old Hands Re-scheduled Final Concerts

Alex Eddington and Martin van de Ven will talk, share some music, and the Labdara bell choir will premiere their compositions.
About this Event

July 10th - composer Alex Eddington will talk about his experience with collaborative composing, and will share some music he wrote with youth and community ensembles. The Labdara bell choir and Laura Gillis (conductor/pianist) will premiere Alex's piece,The First Song I Remember... Followed by a casual social mixer.

July 25th - composer Martin van de Ven will bring his clarinet, will share about Klezmer music, and will share some pieces from the genre, such as Araber Tanz, and Nokh A Glezyl Vayn. The Labdara bell choir and Laura Gillis (conductor/pianist) will premiere Martin's piece, Mellow Bells. Followed by a casual social mixer.
