Our monthly New Moon Nidra + Live Music event, on Monday, June 15 at 7:30, is offered as an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and create space for inspiration to return.
Mark the new moon with guided meditation and yoga nidra, or ‘yogic sleep,’ a state or relaxation between wakefulness and sleep by candle light, led by Tina and Stevie, accompanied by sacred boundaries.
'sacred boundaries' is the moniker of Grand Rapids-based ambient musician, soundscaper, bassist, and audio engineer, Stephen Sietsema. Each song and performance by Sietsema is an invitation to a new world to get wondrously lost in. Utilizing drones, tape loops, field recordings, and a variety of other unique and experimental instrumentation, the music of sacred boundaries advocates for deep listening, an appreciation of nature, and the experience of universal love.
This special performance will feature an underwater and lake-inspired atmosphere designed to transport and restore.
Live Music hosted by Dogtown Studio.
