NEW MEXICO WOMEN IN THE ARTS/THE MAD HATTER GALLERY INFORMATION MEETING

Public meeting for female artists, art advocates, nonprofits, collectors, gallerists, community leaders, and others to learn about the benefits of joining New Mexico Women in the Arts (NMWA), the state’s premier advocate for women artists. The meeting will include an intro to NMWA and its member benefits, hands-on instruction in creating a profile in the NMMA Registry, networking with current NMWA members and fellow women creatives. A computer will be on hand to make joining NMWA fast and easy. Please RSVP at [email protected]
Presence on the NMWA registry is a direct form of economic activism. It moves a woman artist from “grassroots local contributor” to a formally indexed professional eligible for state-backed portfolios, grants, and institutional curation.
