The Hope4Hounds FREE training class takes place the third Sunday of every month at Kit Carson Park in Escondido. NEW LOCATION: Meeting off of Bear Valley and Castaneda, which is not a main entrance. Once on Castaneda, class participants will be gathering to the right in the shaded area. Parking is available to the left or right on Castaneda. If you have trouble finding our location, please reach out to us at (760)224-6556.
This free class is currently limited in number to comply with COVID social distancing guidelines, determined through a pre-registration process. A limited number of audit spots are also available when our dog/handler max is reached.
Hope4Hounds training is open to ALL dogs, and particularly designed to assist those with dogs whose behavior issues are causing significant stress, who have become (or may pose) a danger to themselves or others, and who are at risk of facing re-homing or euthanasia.
Participant dogs can include those that come from families who simply do not have the means to afford balanced training support, those whose dogs are risking their owner's stable housing arrangements, or who have special needs issues such as deafness, blindness, or significant past trauma.
Hope2K9 Foundation specializes in using balanced training methods (fulfill your dog, teach them what you WANT, and share fair and appropriate consequences for behavior that needs to be discouraged or stopped) to achieve calmness and connection between humans and their dogs. We can help you find, implement, and properly use the training tools and techniques that will greatly improve your relationship and life with your dog.

ALL of our fundamental repair principles, and foundation training processes, are made available online for FREE, and should be the first place you start your training journey, before attending a Hope4Hounds class.
