Ever wanted to learn how to swing dance?
Join us on Wednesday, 2nd September for the start of our brand new Level 1 Lindy Hop course! Whether you consider yourself rhythmically challenged, you've always wanted to try dancing or you are royalty on the dance floor, this course is designed for absolute beginners.
No prior experience and no partner required.
We run structured, monthly courses starting on the first Wednesday of every month. By booking a monthly pass, you get to learn progressively with the same friendly group of people each week.
What to expect when you join:
👯♀️ A Welcoming Community - Get to know the same friendly faces every week as you learn together.
📈 Real Progress - Attending weekly means you'll build your skills and confidence so much faster.
🪜 A Clear Path - Complete our Level 1 course three times and once in the other role (along with our socials), and you’ll be ready to graduate to Level 2! (Or you can stay in Level 1 and continue to deepend your skills in the other role - or do both!).
💃 Social Dancing Included - Your pass includes a regular monthly social dance so you can practise what you’ve learned and meet other dancers.
🔄 Swingout Specials - Each month includes a special class where our Level 1 and Level 2 dancers get to mingle and work on this core move together.
✨ *SEPTEMBER BONUS: September happens to have 5 Wednesdays, which means you get an extra week of classes for the exact same monthly price!
Your September Schedule:
• Week 1 (2nd Sept): Level 1 Class @ 7pm
• Week 2 (9th Sept): Level 1 Class @ 7pm
• Week 3 (16th Sept): Level 1 Class @ 7pm
• Week 4 (23rd Sept): Level 1 Class @ 7pm
• Week 5 (30th Sept) - SOCIAL NIGHT
7:00 PM: Combined Level 1 & 2 Class
8:00 PM: Monthly Social Dance (Included in your pass!)
📍 The Details:
• When: Starts Wednesday, 2nd September (and every Wednesday in Sept!)
• Time: 7pm
• Where: The Actors, Brighton
• What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can move in, and flat, comfy shoes (trainers are great).
🎟️ You must pre-book your monthly pass online and show your receipt on the door! No payments on the door means less faff and more time dancing.
