The New Horizons Bands of Colorado Springs present their annual Spring Concert, a dynamic double-header afternoon of beloved classics and stirring Celtic soundscapes.The Concert Band celebrates selections from The Great American Songbook, featuring timeless Broadway, Hollywood and Tin Pan Alley favorites by legendary composers including George Gershwin, Harold Arlen and Irving Berlin. These unforgettable melodies have shaped American music for generations and continue to resonate with audiences of all ages.
The Symphonic Band transports listeners on a Celtic journey filled with energy and heart, performing selections such as Titanic Medley, Four Scottish Dances and highlights from Brave. Rich textures, driving rhythms and lyrical themes bring the spirit of the British Isles vividly to life.
