New Horizons Band, a symphonic band made up of 35+ members of the Sioux City community, will perform at the Siouxland Center for Active Generations on Friday, May 12 at 4 p.m. Most of the band members are amateur musicians of retirement age and enjoy playing concerts all around Siouxland. The New Horizons Band is directed by Dr. Lou Rossman, formerly the Music Department Chair at Morningside College before his retirement. The band has been together for 13 years and enjoy bringing people together with their musical performances. We hope you’ll support these joyful musicians by attending their concert after the Friday Dance Party. They are sure to put on an enjoyable show with beautiful music!
