Give your young artist the opportunity to learn, create, and connect in our NEW! Homeschool – Mixed Media Classes — an exciting 14-week creative journey designed to inspire imagination, encourage self-expression, and explore a wide variety of artistic mediums in a welcoming studio environment!
Running every Wednesday afternoon, this award-winning program invites homeschool students to discover painting, clay, ceramics, paper arts, and mixed media techniques while building artistic skills, confidence, and friendships through hands-on creative experiences.
Whether your child is brand new to Kamloops Art Party or already loves creating with us, this extended program offers fresh projects, exciting materials, and endless opportunities to let their creativity flourish. ✨
🖌️ Workshop Details
📅 Runs Every Wednesday: September 16 – December 16
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
📍 Location: Kamloops Art Party
👤 Ages: 5 – 16
⏳ Duration: 14 Weekly Classes
💲 Investment & Payment Options
Option 1 – Pay in Full
• $649 + GST (due at time of registration)
Option 2 – 3-Payment Plan
• 3 payments of $219 + GST
Payment Schedule:
✔ First payment due upon registration
✔ Second payment: October 7
✔ Third payment: November 11
A credit card is required to be kept on file for the 3-payment option. Our team will contact you within 48 hours of registration to collect payment details.

Mixed Media Exploration – A new creative focus each week
Clay Creations – Sculpting and building with premium pottery clay
Ceramics & Glazing – Learn ceramic painting and glazing techniques
Acrylic Painting – Develop brushwork and colour skills
Watercolour Techniques – Experiment with blending and texture
Printmaking & Transfers – Try fun image transfer and print methods
Paper Arts – Creative layering, crafting, and mixed media projects
Featured Projects – Create a variety of unique seasonal and themed artwork throughout the program
All materials, professional artist guidance, and studio time are included.

🔔Important Policies
Please note: All registrations are final — no refunds.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or requests to transfer to another session must be received a minimum of 14 days prior to the program start date. With 14 days' notice, participants may transfer to another available session (if space permits) or receive a future studio credit. Requests received with less than 14 days' notice are not eligible for transfers or credits.
If a class is missed, participants may book a drop-in make-up project during our public drop-in hours:
🕒 Fridays: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🕛 Saturdays & Sundays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Make-up sessions allow participants to continue working on a project; however, they do not include step-by-step instruction like regular classes. Artists will be available to help get them set up and offer guidance as needed.
Behavioural Policy: We strive to create a fun, safe, and respectful environment for all participants. Students are expected to follow instructor directions, treat fellow artists and studio materials with respect, and participate in a positive manner. If disruptive or unsafe behaviour persists after redirection, Kamloops Art Party reserves the right to remove a participant from the program without refund or credit.
