Calling all leaders, followers, and switches — get ready for an unforgettable night where we celebrate half of the heart of every dance: our amazing leads! Join us for Lead Appreciation Night as we smother our leads with the appreciation and love they deserve.EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
How It Works:
When you arrive, follows will receive a handful of appreciation tokens. Throughout the night, follows will pass these tokens to the leads they enjoy dancing with. It’s a chance to show your gratitude, and to acknowledge all the connection, creativity, and joy they bring to the dance floor. Whether it’s for their smooth moves, awesome musicality, or just a fun, memorable dance, this is the night to celebrate them!
New to leading? Come give it a try!
If you’ve never led before, this is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and give leading a try in a supportive, welcoming environment. There’s no pressure—just lots of love from our community waiting to shower you with appreciation.
Why You Should Come:
For the Leads: You work hard to guide us through the music—tonight, we’re giving back. Collect tokens from follows throughout the evening and feel the love.
For the Follows: It’s your chance to say “thank you” in a meaningful way. Whether it’s a long-time lead or someone new, let them know they’re appreciated.
For Everyone: A fun, inclusive, and supportive night where everyone gets to play a part in building our dance community!

The studio is tucked into the corner of this shopping area—just keep an eye out for two pink triangles, and you’ll know you’re in the right spot!
🅿️ Parking: There’s parking all around the area, including covered spots or the nearby businesses. If you see a parking space with those same two pink triangles, you’re good to go!
ABOUT NEW FUSION
We’re here to grow the fusion scene in Austin by creating the culture we wish to see. Each month, we’ll be hosting a Friday Night Fusion event focused on inclusivity, respect, and the joy of dance. As we grow, we aim to foster a community that’s rooted in kindness and a passion for learning. And in the new year, get ready for our Fusion Practicas – where we’ll bring in incredible talent from other dance scenes for special events that you won’t want to miss.
COST: Sliding Scale
At New Fusion, we believe in making our events accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Our sliding scale system allows you to contribute based on what you can afford, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun. When you check in, simply use the keyword that matches your contribution level.
Supporter: $25
Enthusiast: $20
Friend: $15
Base: $10
If you would like to volunteer, please reach out directly to Camille for free entry into the event!
If you bring someone who is NEW TO FUSION, they get in for free their first night! Bonus points if they are a lead!
