Join us on Thursday May 28th at 7PM at the Flint Memorial Library (Lower Level Activity Room) for a talk by Tim Fries — a preservation carpenter with experience in timber framing, window sash restoration, wood shingle roofing, and other aspects of historic preservation. After a career in teaching, he attended the Preservation Carpentry program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston's North End. He has been working in the field of Preservation for six years. He lives in Roslindale and works in the greater Boston area, primarily on the South Shore. The event is free and open to the public.
