The conference aims to bring together professionals from the recovery residence field to discuss best practices and strategies for operating a successful residence and avoiding the multiple pitfalls around illegal business practices, discriminatory policies, recovery residence insurance and more. Break-out sessions for new and prospective operators and house managers (Peer Support Specialists) will offer an opportunity for those just starting out. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and hear from a variety of educational guest speakers who are experts in the field. The keynote luncheon speaker will feature Mr. David Sheridan, NARR Executive Director speaking on NARR – Past, Present and Future with an emphasis on the impact of the new ASAM Criteria that now includes recovery residences.
