The Institute for Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies at Rhode Island College invites you to our "monthly" New England Cyber Security Professionals meetup. Join us for an evening of food, fun, industry networking, and collaboration. Whether you're a seasoned cybersecurity expert or just starting out in the field, this event is perfect for anyone looking to connect with like-minded professionals in the industry.
August's featured speaker is , Executive in Residence for Public Safety & Resilience at the Institute for Security and Technology (IST). At the IST, Josh is leading UnDisruptable27, a new initiative on the resilience of lifeline basic human needs: water and wastewater, emergency medical care and hospital services, food supply chains, and power. Josh will be speaking about the origins and goals of U27, as well as addressing the major incursions to our public water infrastructure and healthcare institutions from foreign adversaries in China, Iran, and other government-sponsored threat actors.
