We will be creating glass 3D trees that will stand on their own and look great with small twinkle lights gathered about the base. This is wonderful coffee table decoration or for your dinning table. We will be using transparent and opal colors. However, you can use this in any color variation that you want to create your custom holiday tree.
In this workshop you will learn how to place the strips of glass to create your interlocking tree, including the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures and how glass behaves under heat. This is a one day class with pick up of projects at a later date due to firing the glass in the kiln takes 24 hours total.
This workshop is for beginners who little experience with glass before. Basic glass cutting is required. Sarinda will have all the tools and instructions for you to learn how to cut glass.
This workshop is an average of 1-2 hours depending on the students interaction.
Class SIZE is limited to 12 students.
