New Applicant Info Session

Interested in becoming a Habitat homeowner and have at least 2 years of stable income? In order to apply and to learn more, you will be required to attend one of these information sessions.

We select families between 55% and 80% of median annual income.When evaluating applications, we look at several criteria. Successful applicants have:

• at least 2 years of stable income
• A total household gross income that is between 55% - 80% of Area Median Income, which is a monthly income between $2,700 - $6,500 depending on the number in the household. To qualify for the mortgage, the estimated house payment cannot exceed 30% of applicant and co-applicant’s gross income.
• After an initial review, Habitat may request your pay stubs, tax returns, benefit statements, bank statements, etc.
• Have an acceptable level of non-housing debt and payment history
• Been discharged from any prior bankruptcy for at least three (3) years
