What better way to celebrate a birthday than being in the outdoors? Our parties in the park may be just what you've been looking for!
If you have a birthday coming up, then an outdoor party is a great option. It's perfect for people who love wildlife and the environment, and it’s a wonderful way to get everyone active in the fresh air.
Warwickshire Country Parks offer a range of action-packed parties with our rangers throughout the year, set in two of Warwickshire’s beautiful Country Parks. No matter what age you are (3 – 103!), it’s a great way to have fun with friends and family.
Winter birthday? There's no reason to feel left out – you can wrap up warm and have an outdoor party too, with activities like den building and rocket launching to keep you warm and on the move.
All of our parties have full private use of our education room and an outside area for your activity. You are welcome to decorate the room with bunting and balloons etc.

Pond dipping - 20 people max

Going pond dipping and discovering a secret underwater world full of incredible creatures is really exciting for children and adults alike. Ever wondered what’s lurking in the depths of a pond near you? maybe a mysterious alien-like Dragonfly Nymph, or a Great Diving Beetle, or a froglet or two?
The rangers will give you an introduction to the pond habitats and food chains (who eats who), the equipment we use, and how to be safe around the water, before having a go using dipping nets & trays. We will help you use the ID guides and magnifying pots to help you ifentify the creatures you’ve found.
Den building - 20 people max

Building a den is great fun activity for the whole family and with friends of all ages. It’s a wonderful way to spend time together.
Kids and adults love competitions, so we split your guests into teams and challenge them to a den-building contest. This activity works well in children's wood where there are lots of cut branches, and hopefully your dens will provide shelter if you get a shower of rain.
Make a mini den
This activity is a lovely way for children and adults as well to have a go at den building. Each team simply collects a handful of small sticks and prop them up against a tree trunk or fallen branch to make a mini den. Make the inside of your shelter nice and cosy with some fallen leaves. Now it’s ready for your team mascot.
You can do den building at any time of year, but autumn is an ideal time to try it as there are lots of fallen leaves to use.
Wild Woods - 20 people max

A wild wood party is something really different and great for children of any age from 3 upwards. We turn childrens wood into a birthday wonderland and tailor the activities to suit children’s abilities, interest, and age groups. We plan activities with the seasons that can be done during the colder months too, so there is always an adventure to be had.
Minibeast hunting and hotels - 20 people max

Getting up close to wildlife is really exciting for children and adults alike, you will be exploring woodland and grassland creepy crawlies, from bugs and beetles to snails and centipedes, it’s all really good fun. We hand out bug pots, magnifying glasses and shaker sheets and encourage everyone to look for minibeasts under logs and stones, using a range of ID and spotter sheets to support our spotting too.
The session also incorporates creating a recycled mini minibeast hotel / refuge for over wintering bugs. Building a minibeast hotel, wildlife motel or nature stack in your garden can provide a safe hideaway for wildlife and help make use of your garden waste. The simple homes for minibeasts that we make, will provide hidey-holes for creatures galore. All the materials will be provided and by the end of the session everyone should know a little bit more about habitats and the importance of biodiversity.
Rockets - 15 people max

Bottle Rockets. Those two simple words turn a party day into one filled with, fun, water, excitement, and laughter.
You are all Engineers for the European Space Agency with specialist jobs 'and your birthday challenge with your team is to build and launch simple rockets to deliver vital food, spare parts and medical supplies to the ISS (the International Space Station). To do this you will need to design a rocket to travel the longest distance.
You can add different features like fins, nose cones, on board stowaway aliens and go faster stripes!
To help us complete the challenge successfully, we will need 4 adults to stay, join in and fill the launch engineer jobs. The more the merrier.
Watery sticks, rafts and boats - 15 people max

Making leaf boats and watery rafts is a simple and fun activity that encourages creativity in people of all ages. Whether it be a team boat or raft or an individual effort the session is great fun for all involved
All you need is some sticks, string and some added extras from the rangers watery raft treasure box, like pirates, mermaids, mermen, RNLI and watery crew members and you will be well away once the main sail is hoisted!
The ranger will guide you, whilst you experiment with different materials and techniques to see which works the best for you and we defiantly have some tips to help you be careful not to make the raft too heavy as this increases the risk of your raft sinking!
When we launch the boats and rafts, for an extra bit of fun we can see how fast the rafts go at the end whilst transporting your crew safely across the water... will yours survive?

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
How to make payment
Payment is taken on Eventbrite at the time of booking.
Cancellation by you
You may cancel your booking via Eventbrite at any time, you will be entitled to a full refund (minus the Eventbrite booking fees) up to 1 day before your Party.Refunds will include the ticket price less the Eventbrite fees (which consist of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined).
Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won’t be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled by us, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase.
Refunds for non-attendance by customers at events are not accepted
PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Services provided
We will provide your children’s party in accordance with the description of your chosen activities.
Room hire
If your chosen activity includes use of the party room, the following additional conditions apply:
(a) You are responsible for any breakages and/or damage caused to the room / our equipment and agree to reimburse us for any such damage caused.
(b) You may not bring external equipment into the room unless it has been agreed with us in writing in advance. Even if we do agree, you are fully responsible for the use of the equipment and for ensuring that it complies with all applicable safety requirements.
(c) You are responsible for ensuring that the room is left in a clean and tidy condition following use.
Cancelled and postponed events by us
(a) We reserve the right to cancel your party at any time due to events beyond our control (such as bad weather or staff shortages). In the unlikely event that we cancel your booking, we will offer an alternative date or provide you with a full refund (unless the reason for the cancellation is due to your breach of these terms & conditions) refunds will be for the entire purchase – that includes the ticket price and the Eventbrite fees.
(b) We will not be liable to pay you any compensation (other than refund of amounts paid by you) as a result of cancellation under any circumstances.
Safety and behaviour
(a) You are responsible for the children’s behaviour and safety at all times during the party.
(b) You are responsible for ensuring that the adult to child ratios (as described in the party FAQ) are met. If you do not bring enough adult helpers, we reserve the right to stop the activity and you will not be entitled to a refund.
(c) If we reasonably believe that anyone’s safety is being compromised during the party, we may stop the activity. If this happens, we will not refund any of the cost of the party to you (unless the safety issue has arisen due to something that we have done or failed to do).
Parking and closure of the park
(a) Your booking includes car parking from 9:30am-12:30pm.
(b) Please look on the web site for opening and closing times of the park.
Changes to your booking
(a) You may not transfer your booking to another person unless we agree to this in writing.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about your booking or the services provided by us, please contact us in the first instance (contact details above). If we are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, we have a complaint handling process which is available on our website at: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/councilcomplaints. We can also provide a copy of the policy on request.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in the English courts.

The birthday party room set up - guest led
Info: Organisers can set up the party area in the education centre, and make contact with the farmers fayre staff if necessary to arrange timings for the party food, if its been pre ordered.

Birthday party welcoming - ranger led
Info: Rangers will be on hand to welcome you and ensure everyone has their parking passes and pass on H & S information to organisers (fire, loos, first aid, room facilities/cleaning kits), give out room key and give the run down of the session.
🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM
Party activity - ranger led
Info: Birthday activity portion of the party. After everyone has arrived and is comfortable, the Ranger will introduce themselves to the group, the park, the rules and birthday activities on offer, whether this is using tools/equipment, den building, imaginative creations, minibeast hunting, climbing and swinging or playing games! There will be lots of fun involved, and possibly lots of mud!
If the activity requires teams the ranger will sort these and then set off to do the activity with you.

Party refreshments - guest led
Info: This is the part of your party where guests cut the cake have refreshments and have free play / party games . At the end of the session the ranger will pop in on the party room to make sure you as the party organiser are happy with everything, you have a feedback form, and make sure that everyone has their belongings and their party bag (if ordered) and is waved off safely!
