Once upon a Valentine, Dreary… Explore the enduring mystery surrounding Edgar Allan Poe’s tragic end on a special Nevermore, My Valentine Edition of Poe’s Life and Death in Baltimore Bus Tour. This darkly atmospheric experience is a decidedly un-romantic alternative to Valentine’s Day, trading candlelight dinners for gaslight history, unanswered questions, and a poet whose final hours remain unresolved.
This tour traces Poe’s last known movements through Baltimore, visiting the places most closely tied to his life, death, and legacy. For this deluxe Valentine’s Day edition, the tour also includes a candle-lit tour of the Poe’s Death Exhibit at historic Carroll Mansion, and a Lovelorn gift with complimentary vino and rose.

Reading at Poe’s grave

Tours leave from the Baltimore Visitor Center in Inner Harbor, 401 Light Street. Check dates for available tour times. Meet your guide 10-minutes before your tour time inside the Visitor Center at the gift shop desk; refunds will not be granted to late arrivals.
