Roger Daltrey broadcast “Nikki Lamborn has the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin and I know what I’m talking about, I knew Janis”.
Bob Harris from BBC Radio 2 referred to them as “one of the best live bands in Britain”; the ladies’ roll-call list is simply mind blowing – as are the stories the ladies readily share.
At the heart of Never The Bride are two trailblazing women: powerhouse vocalist Nikki Lamborn — hailed by Roger Daltrey as “the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin” — and Catherine “Been” Feeney, the band’s primary composer, keyboardist, and occasional guitarist. Together, they craft music with grit, grace, and passion, supported by a world-class lineup of musicians.
Their career reads like a rock and roll hall of fame — sharing stages with legends such as The Who, Robert Plant, Elton John, Chaka Kahn, Beth Hart, Eric Clapton. They’ve played at Wembley Stadium supporting, The Who, The Royal Albert Hall on Various occasions, Caesar’s Palace, The Viper Room in LA, right down to a tiny intimate 65 seater audience at The Green Note in London. Wherever they play, they perform as if it were their last gig on earth! Their unforgettable rendition of Going to California on the Encomium Album: A Tribute to Led Zeppelin, earned them a gold disc, further cementing their place in music history.
