Neuropizza is back on March 5th 2025❗This time, we’ll meet as part of the Science Thursdays series at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University, in room 0.01, Ingardena 6, Kraków. The seminar starts at 2:00 PM.
We are excited to welcome Dr inż. Maciej K. Ginalski, Managing Director at EDRMedeso, who will give a talk entitled: “Multi-Fidelity Thermoregulatory System Modeling in Neonatology: An In-Silico Journey Toward the Digital Twin of the Human Body”
Let’s explore how computational models of varying complexity can simulate heat regulation in newborns. The presentation highlights how integrating physiological data with multi-scale simulations enables more accurate prediction of thermal stability in vulnerable neonates. By combining simplified and high-resolution models, this approach supports personalized clinical decision-making in neonatal intensive care.
ℹ️ NEUROPIZZA is a brown bag seminar series fostering interdisciplinary discussions in brain research-spanning neuroscience, psychology, medicine, biology, and biomedical engineering. Join us for science, conversation, and (of course) pizza! 🍕
