This course is designed for anyone interested in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia. You will engage with real-world scenarios and lived experiences, helping you understand both the challenges faced by and strengths of neurodivergent people. Learn how to apply practical, inclusive approaches in your own professional context. This training draws on both research-informed practice and lived experience, offering an authentic and compassionate exploration of neurodiversity across a range of settings.

✳️Who is this course for?
Suitable for professionals working across education, health, wellbeing, and community settings, including HR, staff, managers, educators, counsellors, nurses, mental health practitioners and support staff.
The course is ideal for those who want to build practical skills and confidence when working with neurodivergent individuals, including people with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia. It is also open to neurodivergent individuals themselves and anyone passionate about creating more inclusive, compassionate, and accessible environments.
No prior experience or specialist knowledge is required, just a willingness to learn, reflect and engage.


✳️ What will I learn?
- What neurodiversity is and how it can present in everyday life and professional settings
- Common experiences, strengths, and challenges faced by individuals with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia
- How neurodivergent people may experience education, work, communication, and systems differently
- How misconceptions, stigma, and bias can impact neurodivergent individuals, and how to challenge these in practice
- How to recognise, value, and nurture the strengths and contributions of neurodivergent people
- Practical tools, strategies, and reasonable adjustments to create more inclusive and accessible environments
- How to confidently apply learning when working with neurodivergent clients, colleagues, students, and communities
- By the end of the course, you will have developed greater confidence, understanding, and practical skills to support neurodivergent individuals effectively and inclusively in your professional role.

✳️ How will I learn?
This full-day interactive training includes individual reflection, pair and group activities, real-life scenarios, and open group discussion within a supportive and inclusive environment.

✳️ Course leader biography
Stef Brickleback is a neurodivergent practitioner with lived experience of dyslexia and the challenges of mainstream education. Stef delivers training that is not only educational but also authentic, engaging and impactful.

With over 27 years’ experience working across diverse communities, Stef brings both deep professional insight and powerful lived experience to her neurodiversity training. A qualified educator, youth worker, and Dramatherapist, Stef holds a PGCE (Post-16), a postgraduate qualification in Dramatherapy, and a BA (Hons) in Communication Arts/Drama. Her approach is trauma informed, strengths based and rooted in creating inclusive and accessible learning environments.
