Overview

A retreat for Autistic and/or ADHD folks who menstruate that are preparing for, or in their menopausal years. You do not need a diagnosis to attend; if you suspect you are neurodivergent or self-identify we welcome you to join us.

Together we’ll explore the unique challenges of being neurodivergent during hormonal changes, while building clarity, understanding, and connection. This is a space for you to gather, ground, grow and strengthen your skills for self-advocacy.

Through gentle facilitated group coaching, nature connection, and restorative practices, Rooted & Rising invites you to step away from the noise of daily life and return to yourself: seen, supported, and stronger.

What to Expect

  • Woodland setting; nature connection to support your nervous system
  • Space to pause, reflect, and share experiences with others who get it
  • Facilitated activities and group coaching for clarity, self-understanding and empowerment
  • Time outdoors, grounding practices and restorative breaks
  • Practical tools to help you advocate for yourself in everyday life

Who It’s For

Autistic and/or ADHD women who are:

  • Pre-menopausal — wanting information and empowerment for what to expect
  • In perimenopause — seeking support to navigate changing symptoms and experiences
  • Post-menopause — still experiencing symptoms, or wishing to share knowledge and wisdom with others

Also for:

  • Anyone wanting to better understand the intersection of hormones and neurodivergence
  • Those looking for knowledge, community, and restorative activities in a woodland setting

What You’ll Take Away

  • Clarity about your own experience
  • Connection with others who share similar challenges
  • Tools for self-advocacy and everyday wellbeing
  • A sense of grounding and renewed energy

We'll cover the basics of neurodiversity, hormones and neurotransmitters - the menstrual cycle and the changes that occur at peri-menopause - how hormones impact neurodivergent people including executive function, sensory processing, stimming, masking, emotions and mental health as well as practical strategies and tips. The final 30 minutes will be an open, honest Q&A.

🕑: 03:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Decluttering for Balance

Info: Caroline will guide you through a gentle decluttering process - looking at physical, digital, and mental clutter that can quietly weigh you down. Together, you’ll create a simple personal plan to ease that load. This isn’t about perfection, but about making space for calm, clarity, and confidence so you can move through this stage of life feeling lighter and more at ease.

🕑: 04:00 PM - 04:30 PM
Reflection: What do you know now?

Info: A gentle space to pause, share insights, and integrate what you’ve experienced before we close the day together.
