This month we're stepping into fall with a focus on our mental health! Join us as do some group wellness activities aimed to help us focus on gratitude and our vision for the rest of the year, and are once again joined by the amazing Lindsey Vandeventer, LCSW & autistic therapist! They will be leading us in an open discussion on wellness with Q & A.
To learn more about Lindsey, watch her on AFO's podcast 'Unmasking Autism w/ AFO' here:

This monthly social is a fun, safe, inclusive gathering that promotes socialization, connection, and friendship with those like you! Unmask, unwind, and be your authentic self!
We encourage this social to be for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only so we can have a space that is ours, practice autonomy, and unmask. If you are a parent, we encourage you to drop off and pick up so we can keep the space for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults.
Haven't been to one of our socials yet? See what our friends are saying: "AFO has created a place for me where I don't have to fear feeling like an outcast." - Ashley, OKC Social Attendee.
Socialization is good for your mental health and promotes wellness in numerous ways. Those with neurodivergence have a high risk of suicidality, and our socials aim to prevent that by providing a safe place where people can be themselves, make real connections, and feel seen.
