Important Notice Regarding Free Grant-Funded Events

Many Autism Foundation of Oklahoma events are offered free of charge through grant funding and community support. Because these funds are limited, event capacity is often limited as well.

When you register for an event, you are reserving a space funded specifically for your participation. If you register and do not attend, that space may go unused, preventing another individual or family from participating. In many cases, AFO has already committed funds for admission fees, activities, materials, meals, or other event-related expenses based on the number of registered participants.

If your plans change and you are unable to attend, please notify AFO as soon as possible so that your space can be offered to someone on the waiting list.

Repeated registration for events without attending, responding to communications, or canceling in advance may result in restrictions on future event registrations. Our goal is to ensure that limited grant-funded resources are used responsibly and are available to as many individuals and families as possible.

Thank you for helping us maximize opportunities for the autism community.

Registration, Cancellation & Attendance Policy

Registration fees and refund eligibility vary by event.

This monthly social is a fun, safe, inclusive gathering that promotes socialization, connection, and friendship with those like you!

If you feel you're alone, you're not! We're here to greet you with open arms, as you are because who you are is valid and deserves confirmation.

We encourage this social to be for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only so we can have a space that is ours, have autonomy, and unmask. If you are a parent, we encourage you to drop off and pick up so we can keep the space for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults.

Socialization is good for your mental health and promotes wellness in numerous ways. Those with neurodivergence have a high risk of suicidality, and our socials aim to prevent that by providing a safe place where people can be themselves, make real connections, and feel seen.
