Jon is Managing Director and Owner of TradeWind Digital, a specialized Digital Marketing Company based in Murfreesboro, TN. For the past seven years, one of our specialties is using for business development to target your ideal prospects, make a professional introduction in a non-salesy manner, and acquire new clients.
Along with LinkedIn Biz Dev services we provide FOR our clients … we can also teach them how to use the system themself. TWD also provides a unique Geo-Framing adv platform which can be used for both recruiting as well as marketing. More recently we added an Ai Powered Website SEO service and Ai Powered Videos (typically &; 2 min.) Both are offered at a ridiculously low cost due to AI time and manpower savings.
Jon began his business career in college at Central Missouri and paid his way through college and grad school at MTSU selling books door to door in the summers. He made over 300 sales each summer. He also recruited, trained and managed a student sales organization of 40.
After college Jon spent the next 10 years with Southwestern Company first as a District Sales Manager. He recruited and trained an organization of 120 students from Midwest colleges.
Jon was then promoted to Director of Recruiting for sister company Great American, a start-up school fundraising company. Each of the next 4 years he recruited 100 professional sales reps through 15 field sales rep/managers who reported directly to 4 Regional Sales Managers. Then Jon was asked to be Founder of the Southwestern Placement Division which became a separate company called Thinking Ahead. Now it is annually a multi-million-dollar revenue executive recruiting firm based in Nashville, with offices in other cities.
Jon was then recruited away to be VP of Sales/Marketing for start up healthcare company MediFAX. They were pioneers of online real-time (EDI) patient verification transactions for
Medicaid programs. He recruited and trained a team of 70 professionals including National Accounts, Integrated Sales, Direct Field Sales, Telemarketing and Customer Support. MediFAX made the INC.500 twice and grew to over $20 million in recurring revenue. He was co-author of the Federal Guidelines for real time healthcare transactions and got HCFA to adopt the standards creating a whole new way to do business. He left went the company sold to WebMD.
