It can feel lonely, "clique-ish", or just down right intimidating to put yourself out there in the real-world versus social media. This group is designed to go deeper than exchanging elevator pitches and business cards.

This networking group will be structured, follow an agenda and have a down-to-earth feel while simultaneously talking about business.

Our goal is to build a real community feel in a networking group with hopes to expand into other accessible events and workshops.

We are looking for 1 featured business and 1-2 vendor set ups for every networking session. Email [email protected] to inquire. More details are below!

1. There will be a feedback form after every networking session. Building community wouldn't make sense without asking what the community needs. This isn't mandatory to complete, but any constructive feedback is always appreciated. (compliments are always appreciated as well.)
2. Our goal is to start on time. Please plan on arriving at least 5 min early. Arrive as early as 30 min earlier to mingle with other professionals!
3. ARTISTS, MUSICIANS: we want you here! Art is FREE to display and will remain free in this group. Musicians are absolutely welcome to come in and play - of course with discussion prior to session. If this interests you as an artist or musician, please read bullet point #5
4. Featured business of the night info. There will be 1 featured business each session. This includes a booth, marketing from networking group, a presentation and a demo if you would like. Want to be a featured business? Please email [email protected] and include name, business name, what you do and what you would like to present. The featured business will have a booth, marketing opportunities on Meraki's platforms and a presentation which can consist of a demo and/or a speech (about 15 min total).
5. Featured business, artists and musicians: These arrangements are agreed on PRIOR to the sessions. We will have only 1 featured business, 1 musician but the number of artists are to be decided due to space and size of art. Please arrive at least 30 min before session starting time to set up (5:30pm). We ask everyone participates in the group starting at 6pm to stay on schedule.
6. Have an event coming up that you would like to share? We are building an event calendar and would love to put your event on the calendar. Your event info can be given at the sessions. No limit to the number of events. (This will also be a member-only option.)
7. Who is invited? Professionals seeking community, business owners, aspiring business owners, artists, creatives. This is not limited to business owners. We would love this group to provide community and inspiration that anyone with a "growth mindset" can benefit from.

Interested in a vendor booth?

• The booths are limited to 3 and exclusively for hand-made art/creations. This includes painting, knitting, henna, jewelry, pottery, food (etc. )
• You must be set up by event the start time (6pm) You can show up as early as 5pm to set up!
• We ask that you participate in the networking event.
• This is a small booth set up as we don't have a large space. We ask that your table is about 4-5ft wide. If you don't have a table, no worries. Let us know and we can provide a table for you.
