The Women’s Business Network (WBN) will meet on Thursday, February 13th at 6:30 PM at the church hall at St. Theresa's Church (Holy Trinity Parish) in Harvard MA. There will be informal networking and conversation, followed by brief announcements and introductions of each attendee and her business.
Join us for an engaging introduction to the fundamentals of networking! Leia Owen, a local networking expert, will guide you through the essential principles of building and maintaining professional relationships. Together we will explore key networking strategies, including the benefits of in-person and online networking, identifying your target connections, and optimizing your approach based on your goals and industry. Participants will learn how to choose the best networking opportunities to grow their professional network effectively.
We will also cover best practices for initiating conversations, following up with contacts, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn for professional networking. Participants will gain insights into the importance of consistency in networking, the impact of over-networking versus under-networking, and how to adapt their approach based on evolving career and business needs.
