Les Ares is the General Manager of Freedom Boat Club Tampa Bay & Central Florida, a Brunswick Corporation operation spanning more than 30 marina locations and a fleet of over 500 vessels. A 25-year veteran of the marine industry, he previously led OEM boat building for Navico Group, managing a $42M+ portfolio across North America's largest boat builders, and spent a decade with Raytheon Raymarine. Les holds an MBA from Regis University and a marketing degree from Florida International University, along with a USCG Captain's license. He was appointed to the Florida Boating Council by Governor Rick Scott, served on the Panther Trace Community Development District board, and has been nominated for Leader of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
