Onder curatie van modeontwerper Jan-Jan Van Essche, die momenteel de tentoonstelling 'KHAYAL' presenteert, verwelkomt MoMu op maandag 24 februari creatives voor een inspirerend programma rond de kruisbestuiving tussen muziek, mode en design. Deze drie disciplines versterken en beïnvloeden elkaar voortdurend – een centraal thema tijdens dit netwerkmoment. Het geheel wordt gemodereerd door transdisciplinair kunstenaar Baloji.
Het programma biedt een boeiende inkijk in hoe samenwerking over disciplines heen tot betekenisvolle creaties kan leiden:
- Filmmaker Ramy Moharam Fouad, muzikant Willem Ardui en modeontwerper Jan-Jan Van Essche bespreken hun samenwerking van de afgelopen vier jaar.
- Een live interview met designer en muzikante Kiangana BLESS, die haar visie en ervaring deelt.
- Nicholas Daley, de Britse-Jamaicaanse ontwerper, presenteert zijn unieke benadering van de relatie tussen muziek en mode.
- Blackbird Soundsystem verzorgt de soundtrack van de avond.
Naast het inhoudelijke programma is er ook ruimte om te netwerken en ideeën uit te wisselen met andere creatives.
MoMu biedt een platform om te reflecteren op de synergie tussen disciplines en hoe deze elkaar kunnen versterken. Een avond die prikkelt, inspireert en uitnodigt tot nieuwe samenwerkingen.
Deze avond is een samenwerking met ANTWERP. POWERED BY CREATIVES. en Stad Antwerpen.

Curated by fashion designer Jan-Jan Van Essche, who is currently presenting the exhibition 'KHAYAL', MoMu welcomes creatives on Monday, 24 February for an inspiring programme on the cross-pollination between music, fashion, and design. These three disciplines constantly strengthen and influence each other – a central theme during this networking event. The evening will be moderated by transdisciplinary artist Baloji.
