Net Zero Champions: A conversation about climate compatible growth

Net Zero Champions! We’re getting you together for our first meet-up of the year, 5-7pm on 28 January at Projects Nile Street.

We’re kicking off 2026 looking at climate compatible growth in the city, and there'll be an opportunity to reflect on your own business priorities to help move your sustainability journey forward in the coming year.

As always, our Net Zero Champion events are your chance to network with like-minded people and exchange ideas, this time on the beautiful rooftop bar at Projects Nile Street; a certified B Corp dedicated to providing inclusive workspaces that benefit people and planet. Guests will be able to purchase drinks from the bar during the event.

The session is hosted by Vicki Ramsden, Founder at Integrity Executive Coaching and we'll be hearing from guest speaker Simon Maxwell, Co-Chair of Climate:Change, an independent, non-party think-tank on climate change in Brighton & Hove. Simon will talk about how we can achieve climate compatible growth, with our city as a green beacon for others. Vicki will then facilitate some group discussion, enabling you to discuss, reflect and meet others who have a vested interest in sustainability and are making a positive difference in our city.

There will also be a practical and interactive activity led by Emer Gillespie, Founder of Spark & Bell, inviting us to reflect on own our actions and plans for the year, to give us an individual blueprint of action for 2026.

Come along to help shape a shared voice that influences how the local business community can contribute to a greener future.

What's the refund policy? Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email if you are no longer able to attend

Can I attend if I am not a member of the Chamber? If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast).
