About this Event

This event will be delivered in two parts, firstly an industry briefing where attendees will get an introduction into the topic of NetZero, what targets the local major industry players are committing to and what this means for SME businesses in their supply chain. SMEs are then able to attend a two hour masterclass where they will gain valuable guidance to understand what steps they can take to start measuring and reducing their carbon footprint and develop a net zero strategy.

Key learnings from the master class include:

  • Understanding the carbon jargon, such as carbon accounting scopes, net zero, carbon neutral
  • How SMEs can calculate their carbon footprint and develop their net zero strategy
  • Carbon offsets and certification schemes such as Climate Active
  • Navigating the consultant landscape – who do you need to engage
  • Takeaway net zero guide for your business

Your facilitator will cover the following content:

  • What are your client expectations in terms of net zero?
  • Carbon jargon
  • How to measure and record your emissions
  • Carbon footprint examples
  • Opportunities to reduce your emissions
  • How to develop a Plan-on-a-page for a net zero strategy
